Biography

Mark Howley graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA in 1982. Mark began his career in packaging in 1987 with Fres-co System USA, a subsidiary of Goglio Luigi Milano. Goglio Luigi is a world leader in modified atmosphere packaging systems, and high barrier flexible packaging for the coffee industry, agricultural chemical industry, petfood industry and more. During his career at Fresco he served in numerous sales and marketing functions including regional sales, national account management, product management, new product development and sales management. Mark was recruited by Pacific Bag, Inc. in 1999 and was appointed President/ CEO in 2001. Mr. Howley has extensive experience with converting plants throughout the world including US, European and Asian converters. And over ten years experience in the modified atmosphere packaging markets. Mr. Howley is a frequent speaker at trade conferences including the Specialty Coffee Association, Coffee Fest and Petfood Forum. Mr. Howley recently contributed three chapters to Petfood Technology, the first comprehensive text on petfood production and to Tea & Coffee Asia magazine.
