Biography
John R. Burke is president of the Foodservice & Packaging Institute, Inc., a material-neutral trade association for manufacturers and suppliers of single-use foodservice packaging. He joined FPI in 1998 after 25 years in government affairs and communications positions at Fort James Corporation, James River Corporation and Reynolds Metals Company. Throughout much of his career he has been involved with packaging issues, especially federal and state public policies affecting packaging. Mr. Burke holds an A.B. degree from Duke University and did graduate work at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
