VFD is the acronym for Variable Frequency Drive, which has become a very popular method to adjust a motors speed. The Lapp VFD cable is different from ordinary motor power supply cable because it can disperse all of the spikes that the VFD drives generate. The cable construction starts with a unique semi conductive composite insulation applied over the conductor.
