Electronic Machinery with sensitive components that may deteriorate due to high humidity, need to be vacuum packed to protect their integrity.
Machinery is placed in a sealed foil barrier with desiccant. This creates a humidity factor of 20%-30% relative humidity preventing rust or corrosion from occurring.
This packaging is effective for 18-24 months prior to replacing the desiccant.
The foil bag can be checked periodically to see if replacement is required.
Items can also be secured down with bolts using gaskets if needed. The packaged unit is then placed in a wooden box to preventing anyone from puncturing the foil barrier. |
