Multivac will showcase an automated loading and packaging line inside its booth, # 5471, at Pack Expo 2007, October 15-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. The company will demonstrate a totally integrated system using an Adept Quattro robot with a vision system and conveyor tracking, to load product into a high-speed R240 thermoform fill-seal packaging machine.
“Our automated packaging solution at this year’s Pack Expo is just one of countless possibilities available to our medical and consumer product customers looking to boost efficiency and improve the consistency and quality of their product packaging,” says Ed Wood, director of sales for Multivac’s medical-consumer-industrial (MCI) division.
“The solutions we offer are tailored to each customer’s unique demands, and our team of packaging experts looks forward to consulting with attendees of this year’s show.”
In addition to the powerful R240 thermoform fill-seal demonstration, Multivac will feature a C500 TC vacuum chamber system with constant heat sealing for medical packaging applications. This new line of equipment is designed for the most critical applications requiring seal validation and low residual oxygen.
Representing the Multivac traysealer line will be a T350 skinpack system, offering exceptional speed, versatility and product presentation to food packagers. Additionally, Multivac will be demonstrating a new wrap-around labeling system for bottles and other cylindrical packages, with sales incentives exclusive to attendees.
