- Large Container Detection: Large items, such as containers destined for the cargo hold of a plane, pass the sensor on a conveyor. Space restraints require that the sensor is mounted up to 2 meters from its targets on only one side of the conveyor.
- Pallet Shrink-Wrapping Detection: The adjustable-field Q60 sensor is mounted on the robot arm, looking horizontally at the pallet to be wrapped. The arm moves around the pallet of stacked goods as long as the sensor detects that goods are present. When the arm reaches the top of the stack and the Q60 no longer senses the product, the sensor signals the arm to reverse directions and complete the wrapping process.
- Long-Range Feature Detection: From a distance of up to 6 feet, the Q60 detects objects within the defined range, ignoring those beyond the cutoff point. |
