GAO Instruments introduces its new T1 BER TESTER capable of performing both E1 and T1 tests.

Due to the earlier success and popularity of its E1 BER testers, GAO Instruments is now presenting a newly improved tester that is capable of performing both E1 and T1 tests with additional useful features especially designed for North American users.

With histogram analysis and propagation delays, this improved T1 BER tester can perform multiple tasks such as Pulse mask and E1 Jitter measurements. Not only does it support error injection and alarm generation, it is also capable of sending Frame Words such as Sa bit. In addition, the size ‘4’ LCD display allows users to view received Data/FAS/MFAS words more conveniently than ever.

This T1 BER TESTER can perform error code testing for rates from 50b/s to 2048kb/s. It also performs 2M online monitoring making it a valuable tool for routine maintenance, repair and operation monitoring for communication devices. The supported interfaces include G.703, V.24/RS232, V.35, V.36/RS449, X.21, EIA-530/530A and RS485/RS422. The T1 BER Tester incorporates a special remote monitoring function, which enables the user to perform convenient real time monitoring through its software running in a Windows environment.
