Shamrock Engineering and Genex CRI have signed a service agreement to service and maintain the customer’s Domino A-series and Codeboxes. The agreement partners Genex CRI, a global leader in the bovine Artificial Insemination field and Shamrock Engineering, a recognized expert service provider in the continuous-inkjet- coding industry.

By entering into the agreement, Genex CRI will be able to ensure the reliability, timeliness and accuracy of the information coded onto the semen storage straws used in the AI industry for freezing of samples. All seven of the printers at the various Genex CRI locations are covered for one reasonable charge.

Shamrock Engineering maintains the Domino printers that are used to code critical information such as production date, bull name and number, and company logo. This information must be legible and correct to ensure security and safety of the sample. Shamrock Engineering and Genex CRI have developed a plan to perform scheduled maintenance to improve code quality, improve uptime and reduce costs.

The agreement also allows Genex CRI to obtain all needed service, parts and fluids from a one-stop, turn-key provider. This in turn reduces parts and fluids inventory, cost of emergency repairs, and travel expenses for service personnel.
