The Driven Longitudinal Drum Sealer Model 88-Driven is designed to address the need to produce a running seal between two separate layers of thin film, or when using multiple sealing heads across the drum surface. By creating the seal over a drum, tension differentials that may adversely affect seal strength and quality are eliminated. The drum acts as a large roller keeping both film layers flat and in correct orientation during the sealing process.
Model 88 applications include document pockets on shipping envelopes and some of the more complicated diaper bags.
