Kammann Machines, Inc. has announced the addition of the SD6000 to its decorating screen printing line. The SD6000 is a UV glass ink printer that supports brilliant decoration with up to six colors for use on cylindrical and slightly conical shapes.

The SD6000’s support of ultraviolet curable ink with superior adhesion capabilities will play a major role in a new initiative aimed at positively impacting the sustainability of the packaging industry. The Hartness-Inks initiative, of which Kammann has become a supporting development partner, is a multicompany solution that unites packaging expertise with new proprietary ink technology for use on a variety of bottles and containers.
