The highly sensitive R58 Expert Color Mark Sensor measures color contrast, detecting 16 levels of gray scale. To optimize contrast, each sensor includes red, green and blue sensing LEDs and automatically chooses the best color for the application. The R58 is effective in applications involving low-contrast, high-gloss or small, inconspicuous registration marks. The R58 includes Static and Dynamic TEACH programming and manual adjustment, and delivers ultra-fast 10,000 actuations per second, with a continuous readout of operating status with an 8-segment light bar indicator. The R58 rugged housing is rated IP67.
