FDA Compliant Can Coating Resins

Vinyl Dispersion, Blending & Specialty Resins: Dispersion, blending, powder-coating, and specialized suspension vinyl resins are used for formulating plastisols, powders and compounds for applications such as resilient flooring, artificial leather, can coatings, toys, and flexible gasketing and tubing. Vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer (vinyl chloride/vinyl ester) resins are fine white powders that can be easily dispersed in plasticizers and solvents.

Vinyl Compounds for Demanding Packaging Applications

Geon™ Vinyl Rigid Molding Compounds: As North America’s leading vinyl compound producer and a worldwide leader in vinyl technology, PolyOne offers the most complete line of rigid vinyl molding compounds in the industry. Geon™ Vinyl rigid molding compounds meet customer specifications and deliver proven performance and value.  Industries served include appliance, building and construction, and electrical and electronic.

Interior Compounds: Geon interior compounds meet the properties needed for general-purpose, indoor, UV-stable, normal impact or superior impact uses and are commonly used in industries requiring fire resistance, such as appliance, and electrical and electronics.

Transparent Compounds: Geon transparent compounds are fire, chemical and impact resistant. The balance of properties provided allow for replacement of costly glass, polycarbonate or acrylic in applications such as battery jars, soap and tissue dispensers, and refrigerator crisper trays.

Exterior Compounds: Geon exterior compounds are UV stable and can withstand extreme weather conditions with good color and impact retention over time. They require less maintenance than wood or metal.
