Cost Savings
The EZ-BULK system saves money that directly benefits your bottom line. These savings come in several forms:
- initial cost
- labor cost
- inbound and outbound freight
- warehouse space
Initial packaging costs are reduced by using EZ-BULK compared to other shipping methods. EZ-BULK's competitive pricing creates economic savings without compromising strength of product protection. The EZ-BULK's strength comes from a combination of heavy-duty triple wall corrugated cardboard with an exterior filament substrate.
An unassembled EZ-BULK is shipped knocked down flat. The container only needs 1/10th the space of a drum, so on inbound shipments you receive 10 times the potential shipping volume.
Labor costs are reduced through easy assembly, reduced filling time, and more efficient loading and unloading of product.
Warehouse space is also saved because the units are stored knocked down flat and then the totes are stackable once filled.
Environmental Awareness
Practical and economic shipping solutions have been accomplished without sacrificing environmental conservation. The EZ-BULK design provides a ``source reductive`` package. The bag liners inside the EZ-BULK use over 90% less plastic compared to polyethylene drums. This helps reduce raw material recycling or disposal costs. Also, the EZ-BULK container has 50% less corrugated material than the competition, making it easier to recycle, dispose, or incinerate.
Safety in transit is important for all types of packaging, but particularly for liquid containers. The EZ-BULK has been approved by the National Motor Frieght Classification Committee and meets or exceeds the Internation Safe Transit Association standards.
