On the heels of rapidly growing global operations, Multisorb Technologies, the world leader in active packaging technology, announced today the appointment of Catherine E. Irish to the position of Human Resources Director.

In this capacity, Irish will spearhead Multisorb’s global human resources program to support the growth of Multisorb’s family of companies, including Multisorb Technologies Inc., Active-Pak Automation (APA), Eagle Chemical and Multisorb Technologies Ltd.  Irish joins an established HR team of Dawn Balland, Katy Clancy and Elizabeth Marek.

Irish is an accomplished human resources manager, with over fifteen years of experience in organizational development, recruiting, employee relations, diversity programs, performance coaching, labor relations, HRIS, and training. Prior to joining Multisorb, Irish held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager at Praxair Incorporated where she oversaw HR responsibilities for 450-plus technical professionals in three separate organizations.  She has also held HR Manager/Administrator positions at Best Foods Baking Company and Kraft Foods.

Irish received her Bachelor of Science degree from the New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University in Ithaca.  She also serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Family Justice Center of Erie County.
