The OptiGauge system measures multilayer film for the medical, pharmaceutical and food markets. The system simultaneously measures multiple layers and uses that information to provide process control in a manufacturing environment. OptiGauge provides measurements that allow optimization of each layer of a multi-layer film, enabling significant reductions in materials usage.
Lumetrics developed a multiplexed switch that connects up to 8 sensors to a single OptiGauge, providing sequential readings of each inspection point. If required within a process, sensors can be deployed kilometers away from each other, optimizing the customer investment. |
