Witt Gas Techniques Ltd has launched its MAPY 4.0 device, a new ergonomically designed, mains operated, multifunctional, O2 and CO2 gas analyser for use with Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) in the food processing and packaging industries.

Ideal for intermediate sampling using a needle, both in laboratories and on packaging lines for random analysis of packaging, the unit features an ergonomic design allowing the operator to easily read the data on an angled full colour touch screen. This is accompanied by the ability to data log, using an integrated SD card, thousands of measurements, product parameters and data with the capability to download to a computer or an auxiliary USB memory stick, as well as the product having Ethernet capability.

The MAPY 4.0 is also supplied with an integrated SD card for data storage and is available with an optional easy to replace zirconia O2 sensor. Witt Gas notes that it can also provide the option of a barcode reader, for easy identification of products and an integrated printer for instant readable data.
