Consulting & Testing Services

Standard testing services including aroma/flavor/odor analytical services and multidimensional GC/MS services for the food, beverage, petroleum, chemical, polymer and consumer products industries. Film and package testing services include O2 transmission rate and H2O vapor transmission rate testing. Consulting and package development of permeation instruments and other tests for fuel, fuel cell, aroma and off-odor analysis are also available.

Permeation Instruments

Oxygen permeation instruments for oxygen permeation rate testing of barrier materials such as plastics and composites used in all forms of packaging (flat films and finished packages), water vapor permeation instruments for water vapor transmission rate testing of barrier materials used in packaging applications and, carbon dioxide permeation instruments for carbon dioxide (co2) transmission rate assessment of barrier films and package materials.

Weighing, Balance, and Sorting Instruments

Automatic balance systems for weighing capsules, tablets and small parts automatically without operator intervention and, weighing and sorting systems for capsule-weighing sorting in the pharmaceutical industry, featuring a single-weight sensor that re-zeros itself between every weight measurement, even at 2000 capsules per minute. Validation assistance is available for software, firmware, hardware and complete packages.

Headspace Instruments

Headspace analyzers provide accurate shelf life testing of finished packages, including CAP/MAP (controlled atmosphere packaging / modified atmosphere packaging), and oxygen and carbon dioxide gas analyzers for checking modified atmosphere packaging materials.

Leak Detection Products

Quality control package testing systems include leak detectors and seal strength analyzers for blister packages and, non-destructive leak detection instruments, designed for sterile medical supplies, food and pharmaceutical packaging. This portable system can be used to test blister packs, foil pouches, plastic pouches, thermoformed cups, bottles, boxes, and small packages.
