IWCO Direct, a leading USA provider of integrated direct mail services has invested in two Drent Goebel Vision web offset presses for its Elm City, North Carolina facility. Both machines have ten print towers and inline finishing possibilities. One machine is equipped with heat set curing and the other with UV curing. IWCO Direct intends to purchase two additional Vision presses in the near future.

The purchase and installation of the Drent Goebel Vision presses for its newly acquired North Carolina facility further supports IWCO Direct’s ability to offer clients best-in-class high-volume direct mail printing. IWCO Direct selected the Vision press for its ability to run at high speeds which increases throughput. The Vision press is also equipped with both heat set and UV capabilities, giving IWCO Direct more flexibility downstream in its personalization process.The installation supports IWCO Direct’s goal of responding to market needs by achieving higher operating speeds with greater flexibility while reducing waste.
IWCO Direct was impressed with the Vision press versatility, performance and engineering. These innovative web offset presses, designed and manufactured by Drent Goebel in Europe, have a web width of 20.5” or 520 mm, servo drive controls, a fully automated print unit insert system, a user friendly.Operating platform and a fully automated bindery/processing section. The Vision press is also designed for years of trouble-free operation and offers future expansion opportunities with sleeve and flexo printing.
