HEAVY DUTY PAYLOAD ROBOTS (360 KG TO 570 KG)
With payloads of up to 570 kg, these robots can for example, handle side panels in automotive body-in-white construction or, in the palletizing variant, carry out tasks in the beverage or building materials industries.
KR 360-2- In the beverage industry, for example, the robot frees the employees from physically strenuous, monotonous activities, which were associated with a high risk of injury.
KR 360 450-2 PA- Palletizing or depalletizing, mixed or unmixed, cardboard or plastic containers – the KR 360 450-2 PA will meet your requirements, too.
KR 500-2- The KR 500-2 features a significantly higher payload, a greatly enhanced work envelope and a considerable extension of the reference load center distances.
KR 360 L150-2 P- Due to their enormous range, our press-to-press robots are ideally suited to the loading and unloading of even large components in press lines.
KR 500 570-2 PA- With a payload of up to 570 kg, the KR 500 570-2 PA is the champion of the heavy-duty robots.
SPECIAL MODELS
Our robots are available not just as standard models, but also, for specific requirements, as shelf-mounted, palletizing or press-to-press robots, as well as a version for foundry applications. These special models increase productivity still further as they are optimally adapted to their respective applications.
ARC Welding Robots
Specially adapted to arc welding, ARC robots offer optimized solutions at attractive prices. Having a payload capacity of 6 kg and a reach of up to 1.9 m, the robots can access even hard-to-reach weld seams with the welding equipment.
Models include: KR 6 ARC and R 16 L6 ARC …more
Cleanroom Robots
With its cleanroom robots, KUKA offers flexible standard solutions for fields of application in which, until now, customers had little choice but to implement costly dedicated systems. The cleanroom models differ from standard robots in their specially ground and painted surfaces, which guard against the build-up of particle deposits. Modified seals prevent abrasion.
- KR 3 CR- small size, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 16 CR- versatile, flexible, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 180 L130-2 CR- with a fist-shaped work envelope, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 180-2 CR- with a fist-shaped work envelope, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 210 L150-2 CR- with a fist-shaped work envelope, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 240 L180-2 CR- with a fist-shaped work envelope, for cleanroom applications.
- KR 500-2 CR- with a fist-shaped work envelope, for cleanroom applications.
Palletizing Robots
KUKA`s many years of experience in palletizing offer you new possibilities in the field of palletizing and depalletizing. The tried-and-tested modular system gives you the choice of a wide range of perfectly-coordinated components.
Models include: KR 40 PA, KR 100-2 PA, KR 180-2 PA, KR 180-2 PA Arctic, KR 360 450-2 PA and KR 500 570-2 PA. …more
Press-To-Press Robots
Due to their enormous range, our press-to-press robots are ideally suited to the loading and unloading of even large components in press lines.
Models include: KR 100-2 P (Series 2000), KR 120-2 P (Series 2000) and KR 360 L150-2 P. …more
Shelf-Mounted Robots
Many tasks which previously were the sole preserve of linear feed systems can now also be carried out by flexible KUKA shelf-mounted robots. For example, the robot can be integrated into an injection-molding machine, a die-casting machine or a machine tool.
Models include: KR 6 KS, KR 16 KS, KR 30-3 KS, KR 60 KS, KR 150-2 K (Series 2000), KR 180-2 K (Series 2000) and KR 210-2 K (Series 2000). ...more
Foundry Robots
When the heat is on, robots in the foundry version get the job done without even breaking a sweat. Far from it: for years they have been used successfully in a wide range of foundry, ceramics or glass industry applications, ensuring that tasks are carried out faster and more efficiently.
- KR 16 F- for tasks in the glass industry.
- KR 16 KS-F- has a greater depth of working envelope in a downward direction.
- KR 30 F- for permanent mold casting.
- KR 30-3 KS-F- has a greater depth of working envelope in a downward direction.
- KR 60 F- ideally adapted to the requirements of foundry applications.

Stainless Steel Robots
The exclusive use of stainless steel on all surfaces, together with the high IP rating, makes our stainless steel products suitable for all fields of application with stringent requirements as to hygiene, sterility and absence of particles. The stainless steel products can thus be used not only in the food industry, but also in fields such as medicine. The stainless steel products can be cleaned with all the usual chemical agents and high-pressure cleaning equipment, offering maximum flexibility in the range of uses of the stainless steel products.
KR 15 SL
The exclusive use of stainless steel on all surfaces, together with the high IP rating, makes the KR 15 SL suitable for all fields of application with stringent requirements as to hygiene, sterility and absence of particles- such as in the foodstuffs industry or the field of medicine.
