Our palletizing equipment division includes:
- Pallet Inverter
- Pallet Centering Device
- Pallet Dispenser
Pallet Inverter
A pallet load of product is placed into the jaws of the pallet inverter by a forklift truck. The machine operator presses the ``clamps closed`` button on the machine control panel. The jaws will close and apply pressure to the load until they receive the pre-adjusted back pressure on the system. Then the ``rotate`` button is pressed and the machine will rotate 180 degrees upon reaching its inverted position, a proximity switch will engage the machine to stop. The clamps are then opened and the old pallet is removed by the machine operator, while being replaced by a new pallet. The reverse cycle would then commence.
Pallet Centering Device
The Pallet Centering Device is a 5` stationary powered roller conveyor section equipped with dual fold-up centering heads and a centering mechanism. Power is delivered to the centering heads by a centering mechanism. The centering mechanism simultaneously moves the two opposing heads toward the center of the conveyor section. The load is now ready to be used.
Pallet Dispenser
Pallets are placed in the pallet dispenser (or pallet stacker) from the front or side. The pallet dispenser holds 10 to 16 pallets and is operated by two air-cylinders (no gears, motors, sprockets or special linkages required). When dispensing a pallet, two forklift truck tines are inserted into the next-to-the-bottom pallet. The stack is raised, leaving the bottom pallet. This pallet is conveyed on the flat wire mesh conveyor (or roller conveyor) to the staging area between the dispenser and the pallet elevator.
