Timex Battery Pack Program
The simplicity of some design initiatives belies their complexity. These Timex watch batteries required bold graphics coded for specific product applications, as well as different date codes and job lots for 12 different foldover blistercards. We coordinated and executed each phase of production, and supplied Timex with a family of products that has strong consumer appeal.
Sony Software Disc Promotional Package
Here`s paperboard in a rather unique format. To present this Sony software program boldly, J.R. Reeves employed a ``box in a box design``. The result: a design that features three dimensionality, increases perceived value, and allows sufficient surface area for copy to position and sell the product.
O. F. Mossberg Clamshell Package
When O. F. Mossberg, a shotgun manufacturer, entered the firearms accessories market, we created this package for their line of shotgun choke tubes. The removable bottom section of the thermoformed plastic snaps together easily, making it a reusable container, while sharply printed card stock draws consumers` interest.
Digital Data Disc Software Package
This Digital Corporation software promotion features vinyl packaging, silkscreened to bring forth detail. Inside, a thermoformed, split-level tray stores and protects two computer discs. The sheaf of vinyl sleeves acts as a self-contained file for collateral materials.
Sony Mini-Data Cartridge Package
The packaging for this Sony data cartridge, the first Sony product of its kind, needed to both educate and sell end-users on its application. The resulting design accomplished this by combining a thermoformed bottom seal tray with die-cut paperboard. J.R. Reeves delivered product in half the standard production time and received a letter of commendation from the division president on this ``new product promotion.``
Thompson Candy Family of Flexo Labels
This 6 color process family of flexographically printed pressure sensitive labels was produced for various packaged chocolate candies which were targeted for specific seasonal promotions. By producing all six different labels in the same shape and running at the same time, economies of scale and a common die reduced costs significantly.
Sony Hot Stamped Gold Foil Carton
Here`s an example of metal foil hot stamping reflecting the image of this new Sony product. The eye catching graphics and metallic gold highlights accentuate the upscale image of this special product. On both paperboard like this or on pressure-sensitive labels hot stamping can boldly increase perceived value.
Timex Micro-Fold Instruction Booklet
When Timex designed their new smaller watch box and stand the old booklet (above) was too large. The stand required a much smaller booklet (below) with printed area of 12-9/16`` by 13-1/4``. J.R. Reeves designed, printed, and micro-folded this new booklet along with a gravity feed magazine style dispenser container for ease of handling.
Citizen Mini-TV Sell Sheet
Citizen`s introduction of a mini color TV required quick turnaround on an effective sell sheet. Citizen needed to integrate their creative marketing ideas with a logical layout and superb graphics to achieve optimal aesthetics. This sell sheet is printed four color process offset on coated paper.
Benetton Watch Instruction Booklet
Benetton required a booklet with translations in eight different languages. This required coordination with facilities in six different countries for layout and copy approval. Also, the slim profile of this six color offset printed piece required special finishing including micro-folding.
Sears Dealer Store Slide Poster Display
This Sears Dealer Store backwall display required large format six color process offset printing with coating. Some of the display posters exceeded 70`` in length. The slide-rack display style allows easy access to accommodate changing posters for various promotions throughout the year.

The design projects key selling points of value, quality, and self containment; but more importantly, it allowed Sears to exceed all sales projections.

Staples Pencil Display For ``Back to School``
This ``Back To School`` display, designed to look like a pencil created multiple challenges from the initial concept right through shipment to Staples` regional distribution warehouses across the entire country. The integrated display was built on an octagonal wood pallet and included flexo-printed corrugated, wire racks, offset printed graphics, and multiple fastening and protective packaging components. The display was shipped entirely assembled with over 2000 individually packaged products, ready to use at the retail store simply by removing the protective shipping cover.
Sears Craftsman 170 Pc Tool Set Display
This permanent end-of-aisle tool set display needed to both grab attention and create excitement. Colorful graphics combined with a clear thermoformed product-window allow individual tools to be showcased while highlighting the promotional toolbox mounted below. Our newest patented design allows tremendous value and flexibility with changeable graphics as well as a changeable thermoformed product window enabling this display to be adapted to future promotions without the expense of an entirely new display.
