PackoPedia.com is a packaging industry resource designed to assist packaging professionals by helping them find the information that they need, may not have, and don't have the time to research. It is the first website of its kind that focuses on the needs of packaging industry personnel. Packopedia was designed by a customer service expert, a packaging engineer and a web developer as an on-line resource for answers to everyday packaging questions and challenges.

Marketing Director, Greg Starks commented, "When we went looking around the internet, we found lots of information, but no one place where everything was available. Packaging Engineers have to search for sometimes hours to find the piece of the puzzle they need. Packopedia.com is designed to be a clearinghouse of information, and at the same time a forum where you can share ideas with others in the industry…everything totally searchable to save the users time and ultimately money." Although the site is just in its beginnings, the company expects that it will grow exponentially as more members participate in the forum. There are also plans to add new interactive features in the near future. "With the industry feedback we've had so far, we really expect this site to be a win-win for everyone involved. Good for the company, good for the user, good for their customers," Starks said.

Guests to the site have access to a packaging industry WIKI (a fancy Dictionary), a calendar of major packaging industry events and the Packopedia image library.Packopedia provides links to other industry resources such as IoPP and PMMI.
