The Mailjet Advantage is an exciting new introduction to the Mailjet family of printers. It is a continuous ink jet printer that utilizes a unique, compact 8-jet printhead for the commercial printing industry, specifically designed for addressing and personalization. The printer can also be used for numbering, gaming and lotteries.
- Compact printhead measures 4.5`` (113mm) in the machine direction x 1.8`` (45mm) width
- Will soon be available in 1 or 2- printhead models
- 8 lines of print in text or various barcodes at 80 or 120 DPI from a single head
- Speeds to keep pace with most bindery and finishing lines
- Full graphic capability at lesser speeds.
- Water and solvent-based inks
The Mailjet Advantage (MJA) is an array printer using CIJ technology, with 8 jets emanating from a single orifice plate inside its compact head. The design of the support systems (electronics and ink circuit) allows for both a one or two-head configuration. Both the 80 DPI (G) and the 120 DPI (M) heads will have the same nozzle-to-nozzle (and therefore line-to-line) separation, allowing for a consistent line spacing and address block height between the machines.
Unique to most Imaje printers, MJA will have software RIP allowing the use of custom fonts and bitmap printing. This software RIP, in the first-release version, will reside in a separate PC. The software RIP gives MJA the power and flexibility to create fonts and drivers, as market needs demand. These will be released as developed.
- POSTNET, 4-state, and commercial barcodes
- Speeds approximately 400 ft/min for addressing applications, more for other apps.
- Flip-Away charge plates for easy start-up, shutdown, and cleaning
- All maintenance functions available on integral keyboard or database controller
- 7, 9, 11, 14, 20 dot rasters available, three at a time
- IP64 rated, with CE / UL / GS / CSA
