Biography

Dr. Paul A. Moskowitz, a Research Staff Member at the IBM Watson Research Center is an expert on the physics of RFID. Dr. Moskowitz has been awarded over 70 United States patents. His latest work has been to develop a privacy enhancing RFID tag, the Clipped Tag, for consumer applications. The Clipped Tag has been listed by the Wall Street Journal in its 2006 Technology Innovation Awards. He has also been cited in 2007 by the RFID Gazette as one of the top influencers in the RFID industry. He represents IBM at the Hardware Action Group of EPCglobal.

Vice President Business Development Andris joined Marnlen in August 2004 as Vice President Business Development to identify and launch new business opportunities for the Company. In this role, Andris has formed and developed the Marnlen RFiD business unit, which designs, manufactures, and supplies standard and custom flexible RFID labels. Andris brings a wealth of experience to Marnlen having held executive level engineering, operational, marketing and sales roles with market leaders, including IBM in the wireless technologies and printing areas, Delphax Systems in printing, and The Pinnacle Group. Andris holds a B. Applied Science (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Toronto and is a member in good standing with the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (APEO).
