Heat treating is achieved using the austempering process by providing low distortion and constant close tolerances by using a continuous mesh belt operation, automatic feeds and computer controlled atmospheres. This allows the manufacture of high volumes, consistency and reliability of product while maintaining tolerances. This eliminates most problems encountered with high volume production stampings.
