New Name Reflects Brand Capabilities and Growth Strategies

Officials with the pharmaceutical packaging business of Menasha Corporation today announced the naming of its combined group of pharmaceutical packaging companies to CortegraTM. The group includes New Jersey Packaging in Fairfield, New Jersey, a new facility in Raleigh, North Carolina, which began production in August 2006, and Creative Press in Evansville, Indiana.

“The name change reflects the broadened scope of product and service offerings of Cortegra and sets a platform for accelerated growth that Menasha Corporation supports in its pharmaceutical packaging business,” said Victor L. Dixon, Cortegra’s new president. “We anticipate that 2007 will begin a period of rapid growth for our company. The name change reflects our increased manufacturing and distribution capabilities, expanded product lines and geographic growth. It also re-confirms our commitment to product and service innovation, particularly in RFID and brand authentication.”

The name Cortegra, derived from the Latin root for “Heart” and from the root for “Integral,” mirrors the company’s core values, competencies and integrity. It also reflects Cortegra’s position as a trusted and respected partner to pharmaceutical companies.

Dixon, who was named president of the pharmaceutical packaging business in February 2007, has extensive experience in pharmaceutical packaging and is responsible for the development and execution of the Corporation’s strategic plan for the company. He was most recently vice president and general manager of the Life Science Business Unit of Kimble Glass Company. He previously held a succession of senior management positions at Alcoa Packaging, including VP and GM for its Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Packaging business in Flexible Packaging.

In keeping with the main focus of New Jersey Packaging and Creative Press, Cortegra offers a full range of pressure-sensitive labels; heat-seal labels; multi-layer construction labels; booklet labels; saddle-stitched booklets; inserts, outserts, multiserts; foil pouches; lidding materials; folding cartons and flexible packaging.

Cortegra also offers the RxTrackNSecure® product line that makes use of the latest technology in anti-diversion, anti-counterfeiting and anti-fraud printing methods. These products include: security inks; track and trace; RFID; covert identifiers/tracers; tamper-evident constructions; holography; security printing and security papers. The products provide durable, easy-to-apply, and affordable ways to guard against pharmaceutical product fraud and maintain consumer confidence and safety.
