Diagnostic Resource Center
The Diagnostic Resource Center (DRC) is an easy-to-use diagnostic interface or "troubleshooting tool" that allows both beginners and advanced users to diagnose controller problems quickly and efficiently. The DRC provides access to an extensive library of diagnostic information, photos, and circuit diagrams for FANUC Robotics' controllers.
eLearn Training

HandlingTool Application Software
FANUC Robotic's HandlingTool software integrated with a FANUC robot and controller provides an effective process solution for most material handling, material removal and assembly applications. HandlingTool simplifies the setup, programming, and operation of FANUC robots. Built-in macro functions, menu-driven programming tools and point-and-shoot position teaching features allow users to create robot application programs, test an application and run production with minimal training and programming experience.
HandlingWorks
HandlingWorks is a networking software tool that allows users to monitor R-J3 robot systems from a remote PC. It provides a simple and graphical interface to handle day-to-day production and maintenance of R-J3 robot systems. HandlingWorks takes advantage of the built-in Ethernet communications feature of the R-J3 robots to provide an open interface between the robot and PC, allowing the transfer of information between a PC and R-J3 robot. HandlingWorks is flexible enough to support all material handling applications including machine loading, palletizing, packing and material removal.
KAREL
KAREL is an application development software package integrated with a FANUC robot and SYSTEM R-J3iB Controller. KAREL is powerful enough to handle virtually any robotic handling, processing or assembly application.
OlpcPRO
FANUC Robotics' OlpcPRO is a state-of-the-art offline robot program development software designed for FANUC SYSTEM R-J3iB™ and R-30iA™ robots. It supports offline development and maintenance of both KAREL® and Teach Pendant Programming (TPP) used by the FANUC SYSTEM R-J3iB and R-30iA Controllers.
PaintTool
The PaintTool application software package, integrated with a FANUC Robot and SYSTEM R-J3 Controller, provides the user with a process solution that meets both industrial and automotive painting and coating needs. PaintTool simplifies the setup and operation of FANUC Robots. Little or no previous programming or operating experience is required. Standard configurations provide fast and easy robot integration, path teaching and production startup. PaintTool can be easily integrated with a cell controller (PLC) or may run in a stand-alone mode.
PAINTworks III
FANUC Robotics' PAINTworks III provides the necessary tools for an integrated paint shop control system. Offering centralized cell level control, PAINTworks III interfaces with all paint booth automation equipment including robots, reciprocators and bell zones. PAINTworks III is also used with robotic sealing and dispensing systems offering a continuous control architecture for the entire paint shop.

FANUC Robotics PC Developer's Kit is a powerful tool that enables high performance communication of information and instructions between a PC and FANUC System R-J3 and R-J3iB Controllers. The kit is both a development and run-time environment that gets the MS Windows™ application running quickly. Visual Basic programming expertise is required to develop application packages over PC Developers Kit.
PC File Services
FANUC Robotics' PC File Services for Microsoft Windows NT and Windows 2000 provides an easy-to-use file management capability for FANUC robots. It allows users to backup and restore robot application files to a Personal Computer (PC) via Ethernet. PC File Services uses File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to transfer robot programs, variable files, data files and system files to SYSTEM R-J3, R-J3iB and R-J2 (with V4.40 software) robots.
PRESSworks
The PRESSworks operating system package is designed to optimize the performance, throughput, uptime and ease of use of a tandem press line. FANUC Robotics developed the supervisor, line controller and robotic software to focus on the specific needs of the press room. FANUC Robotics worked very closely with key first- and second-tier automotive plant and engineering personnel to develop the system control, error recovery, root cause analysis, system setup screens and operator interfaces. The control operating system, married with a FANUC Robotics robotic transfer system, can increase system uptime (manned yield) by 15 to 25 percent more than a traditional automation solution. This can increase net part throughput by thousands of part per year.
