CONTAINER

275 gallon EZ-BULK 48x40 Series fits on a 48 x 40 pallet. Containers arrive stretch wrapped & flat on skids minimizing warehouse space (up to 80% less than drums).

Unit can be double stacked and stored when filled.

  4. Place body on 48 x 40 pallet with bottom hole on the appropriate side of the pallet.
  5. Make sure the body is squarely positioned on the pallet. Check all four sides of container to insure centered placement.

BAG LINER

EZ-BULK 48x40 Series comes with a multi layer inner bag liner. All liners are made from FDA approved materials, USDA food grade, Kosher approved, and IMS Dairy certified. Specialty barrier films to meet specific requirements are available. Filling is accomplished through a 2” NPT fitting located at the center of the liner. The evacuation fitment is located on the side of the liner to be positioned through the evacuation hole of the corrugated body for end user evacuation.

PALLET

Pallet size 48 x 40 is critical to overall container performance. Standard two-way pallets
should meet the following minimum specifications:

Three 2” x 4” standard hardwood or softwood stringers
Ten 1” x 6” deck boards (seven top boards and three bottom boards)
2 1/2” spiral nails

FILLING

  1. Take inner liner from packing box.
  2. Unscrew and hold onto the filling plug. Attach quick disconnect to top fill fitment of liner.

  4. Place liner in body so that the bottom drain aligns with the evacuation hole on the bottom side of the body.
  5. Use locking horseshoe to secure evacuation fitment for filling.
  6. Do not handle bag during filling. Fill the bag to the top of the body side walls.
  7. Disconnect filling hose. Remove quick disconnect. Remove any air from liner by pressing down on the top of the liner. Screw in the bag plug.
