The DRJ uses a combination of stepper motor, pneumatics, and mechanical linkages for machine, film, and product path motion. An open, easily accessible in- line film delivery system minimizes foot print. The machine can be on feet or casters for moving into or out of production lines. The wrap process employs a simple, proven elevator motion in which product meets a cut piece of film, is enveloped in the film during the upstroke, tucked underneath with a bottom folder, and then pushed forward through a series of folders and film sealers. The machine in essence uses a combination of film movement and product motion principles employed with the Wrapster Semi-Auto Wrapper and FA-ST Servo Wrapper to form a mid-range speed hybrid suitable for clear film applications. |
