Accumulation
Accumulated product is needed to ensure a steady supply of product to a machine or to hold a supply of product when a machine stops. In order to create an accumulation conveying system low friction belting is needed. Low friction belts can either be urethane or modular plastic chain. All of the Dorner product lines offer a low friction belting option or modular plastic chain option. The specifics of the application and products determine the best choice.

Line Access
Access to equipment, work areas and the efficient movement of personnel can be provided by utilizing lift gates and pivot conveyors in the conveyor line.
A standard conveyor can be mounted to a lift gate base creating a conveyor gate that is easily lifted open for walk-thru access.
- Counterweights create easy opening of the gate
- Interlock switches and a timer allow the conveyor to clear before the gate is opened preserving full product control
- Product flow can automatically resume after the gate is closed

Product Transfers
Product transfers are often the hardest part of establishing a production line. Whether you want to maintain the leading edge, change the leading edge, flip the product or count the product, side transfer, end to end transfer, cascade the product, Dorner is known as the transfer expert. Dorner has experience transferring product in over 1200 different industries.
All of Dorner`s products are designed with smaller end pulleys to facilitate product transfers with additional options when a tighter transfer is needed.
Dorner offers 90-degree adjustable transfer kits that are pre-engineered to guide a variety of products.When special transfer options need to be designed Dorner also has designed center drives, magnetic and vacuum options to assist in the product transfer operations.
