Aluminum Frame Conveyors
Many models are constructed of an assembled extruded aluminum frame which is very strong yet light weight.
Belt Conveyors
The smooth, continuous surface of a conveyor belt is ideal for many product handling applications.
- Small or delicate part handling
- Accumulation
- Inclining and elevating with high friction or cleated belts
- Clean room environments
Cleated Conveyors
Cleated conveyors are commonly used to control product on a horizontal or inclined conveyor. The key attributes for cleated conveyors are the accuracy of the cleat spacing and durability of the cleat in the application. Dorner uses proprietary in-house processes to attach cleats to the belting material.
Conveyor Systems
The two key elements of conveyor systems and line integration are product orientation and product movement. Dorner is experienced in controlling product orientation and creating the controls that determine product movement.
Dorner has developed conveying systems with all industrial and sanitary conveyor types.
Product Controlling and Orientation:
- Product Controlling
- Lane Merging
- Counting
- Grouping
- Speed Control
- Variable Speed
- Speed Matching
- Indexing
- Reversing
- Stopping
- Inclining
- Constant Product Gap
- Pocket Filling
- Exact Positioning
- Product Orientation
- Maintaining Leading Edge
- Changing Leading Edge
- Rotating
- Flipping
- Guiding
- Pushing
- Holding
Curves & Turns Modular Plastic Chain Conveyors
Dorner offers modular plastic belt curve conveyors. The 3200 MPB and 7400 Series conveyors can be used to create a product turn or a mainline conveying system in almost any configuration. Use the 3200 MPB when aluminum frame conveyors meet the application needs and use the 7400 Series when sanitation or stainless steel requirements are needed by the application.
Food Quality Conveyors

Industrial Conveyors
Industrial conveyors need to perform in a variety of harsh and dirty environments or moving sharp or odd shaped products. Dorner has had conveyors in industrial environments for over 40 years. The right conveyor is often determined by product weight requirements. Dorner has a full line of conveyors that can carry any product shape or product size.
Lift Gate - Line Access
Access to equipment, work areas and the efficient movement of personnel can be provided by utilizing lift gates and pivot conveyors in the conveyor line.
- Lift Gates
A standard conveyor can be mounted to a lift gate base creating a conveyor gate that is easily lifted open for walk-thru access.
- Counterweights create easy opening of the gate
- Interlock switches and a timer allow the conveyor to clear before the gate is opened preserving full product control
- Product flow can automatically resume after the gate is closed
- Pivot Conveyors
A standard conveyor is mounted to a pivot base to allow the conveyor to swing out of the way and provide walk-thru access.
- Interlock switches and a timer allow the conveyor to clear before the gate is opened
- Product flow can automatically resume after the conveyor is returned to the inline position
Low Profile Conveyors
Dorner is the originator of low profile conveyors and still holds several patents for low profile designs. Low profile allows the conveyor to fit into tight spaces, under equipment, in equipment or under conveying systems to move parts and scrap.
Magnetic Conveyors
Products include: 2200 Series Magnetic Conveyors, 4100 Series Magnetic Conveyors and 6200 Series Magnetic Conveyors. Click here for more.
Plastic Chain Conveyors
Heavy loads, accumulation, drainage or air flow, and the need to transport around a curve are all reasons to use Plastic Chain Conveyors.
Portable Conveyors
The ability to adjust manufacturing to changing products and needs is a must in today’s world. Dorner offers both aluminum and stainless steel stands that can be outfitted with Casters to make the conveyors portable. Dorner has evaluated and engineered Dorner conveyors, to ensure that the stand heights, bracing and casters do not create a tipping hazard or safety situation when moving conveyors on casters.
Stainless Steel Frame Conveyors
Many models feature a complete stainless steel construction for hygienic applications or harsh environments.
- Continuous TIG welded 304 Stainless Steel construction designed for optimum cleaning
- Minimum horizontal surfaces for superior drainage
- Stainless Steel bearings and drive components for complete sanitation
Steel Frame Conveyors
The durability of steel is hard to surpass. Our steel framed models are used in the harshest of environments.
- Mild steel, low-profile construction for durability in a small package
- Ideal for metal stamping or machining applications
- The closed bottom, box-like design is ideal for vacuum and magnetic conveyor applications
Vacuum Conveyors
Holding parts to the belt for elevation changes or controlled positioning can be achieved in a variety of ways. Depending upon the application and product, conveyors that utilize magnets, vacuum, cleats or fixtures are available in a wide variety of configurations.
Vacuum conveyors are made by perforating the belt and drawing air through grooves in the bed of a standard conveyor.
- Holds flat parts of any material fast to the belt
- Ideal for elevation changes or part holding
- Can be used in upside down applications
- Vacuum area required is designed per application
- A variety of vacuum sources can be used
Z-Frame Conveyors
Dorner`s Z framed conveyor series is the LPZ. If you need to incline a product, or decline a product to match a production line height or provide ergonomic assistance to an employee, the LPZ series provides the necessary flexibility.
