Biography

John Foley is co-founder and Executive Vice President of FASTEC. Prior to founding FASTEC, John was founder and principle of Electronic Imaging Systems, a San Diego-based distribution company specializing in ultrahigh-speed digital video cameras, motion analysis software and data acquisition systems for high-speed manufacturing and research applications.

Prior to founding Electronic Imaging Systems, Mr. Foley was Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing for Redlake MASD, Inc. He was a member of the founding executive team and was responsible for implementing and directing worldwide sales and marketing operations.

John had a successful 26-year career with Eastman Kodak Company, holding a series of senior sales and marketing management positions. In 1982, he became a member of the start-up team for Kodak’s Motion Analysis Systems Division in San Diego, California.

John earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, has authored numerous articles and has been a frequent speaker at industry conventions, seminars, and trade association meetings. He is past President of the MIT Enterprise Forum of San Diego, has been an advisory board member of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce Small Business Development Center, and is a member of the Corporate Directors Forum, San Diego Venture Group, Association for Corporate Growth and the American Electronics Association.
