MWV, forms corrugated packaging joint venture (JV) in India with purchase of 51% of Wadco Packaging Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

JV uses both companies’ corrugated packaging design, manufacturing, technology capabilities to strengthen supply chain efficiency, protect produce during transport, reduce 40% loss that occurs in India due to inefficient post-harvest practices, processing, handling. Under agreement, Wadco manufactures MWV’s rigid, humidity-resistant agri-produce corrugated packaging for use in Indian produce market, as well as for consumer goods, household appliances, pharmaceuticals.
