Maxisafe 3-Sided Slider - 101806 
One of Martor’s Smart Knife safety cutters. A safety spring provides for automatic blade "shoot-back" into the handle in response to any uncontrolled movement - even with thumb on the slider! Similar to the Maxisafe 101199 except for a three sided blade slider. Great for right or left handers. Comes with 60099 BLUNT TIP BLADE installed. "GS-TESTED FOR SAFETY."
 
Megasafe - 116006 
The Megasafe is an ergonomically designed heavy duty cutter that is made with an aluminum handle that allows both left and right handed users to easily perform general purpose cutting tasks. Unlike earlier versions of safety knives, the Megasafe features Martor's "smart knife technology" allowing the blade to automatically retract when the blade loses contact with the material being cut. The blade will STILL RETRACT even if the user leaves the slider in the forward position. This cutter features an easy, tool free blade change and can handle a straight or hook blade. Comes with 60099 BLUNT TIP BLADE installed.

A Safety Cutter with a spring loaded locking SAFETY HOOD. Easysafe – 121001 
Martor KG’s newest innovation a Safety Sack Opener. The Easysafe features a patented cutting head design allowing for easy initiation of the cut while maintaining blade contact with the material, even on single layers of film or paper. The piercing point allows for insertion of the cutter into all types of paper, plastic or multiwall sacks. The integrated replaceable tape slitter on the head of the knife safely cuts packaging tape eliminating the need for the typical exposed blade. The unit allows for an easy blade change: no tools required. The blade (#45) is rectangular in shape and can be used 4 times for economy. Optionally, the cutter is capable of being locked with a special key so that blade changing can be done only by authorized personnel. The required Lock Screw Wrench must be ordered separately (#9924).

Multiset 118006: Similar to the famous Martor Profi series, but for use by righthanders and lefthanders. Another advantage is a locking screw which permits you to set the blade to any desired length up to 24mm max. With a 0.63 mm think blade, this safety cutter is designed for all cutting jobs, especially box slitting. A solid aluminum body, incorporating a spring-loaded blade retract system designed to respond to any uncontrolled move, if and when the thumb-push slider is NOT in the forward position-let go of the slider when making the cut! Easy blade change, no extra tools needed. Comes with Blunt Tip Blade 60099 installed.  "GS-TESTED FOR SAFETY."

About us

We are manufacturers of a broad range of safety cutting tools including box cutters, film and strapping cutters and many more types of knives. We have been in the business of supplying tools to industry since 1981. In that year, The Spoilage Cutter Company was incorporated in Wisconsin to sell a patented safety cutter to remove the outside layers of film or paper from a roll. This tool was called the Zepher Model 102. A few years later, a larger tool for the same purpose was developed, the Zepher 105.

In the early 90's we started importing several safety tools from the Martor Company in Solingen Germany for resale to our customers. Because of the increasing demand for these tools and our growing sales of these products here in the U.S., we were awarded exclusive representation status in 1995. Early in 1999, we changed the name of our Company to Martor USA, Division of The Spoilage Cutter Co., Inc. due to the further expansion of our sales of this unique line of outstanding products from Martor Solingen.
