ColorMorph custom-formulated concentrates from Teknor Color Company enable cosmetic and beauty manufacturers to package their products in containers that produce dramatic color shifts when viewed from many angles on the retail shelf.
The effects of the concentrate provide changes in coloration and transparency by orienting the color in thin PET sheets. As a result, a package can allow printing to show, and contents to show, depending on the viewing angle. ColorMorph concentrates are recommended for use with monolayer bottles, tubes, boxes and other containers made from a transparent resin including polyolefins, styrenics, polycarbomate and PET. The concentrates cannot produce their effects when combined with filled and other opaque resins.
