Automated Packaging Systems, the world leader in high-reliability packaging systems, has introduced the new Autobag® CTS4000™ Clean Towel System. This new system has been engineered for high-speed packaging of industrial shop towels, bar towels, mop heads, airline blankets, bulk gloves and apparel. The system is capable of bagging up to 4,000 towels per hour in semi-automatic mode, which includes counting, filling and sealing.

Real time remote monitoring is available using Ethernet communications, and provides valuable operating information for production rate, batch count, total count, and system status. This productivity data is also available via the user-friendly AutoTouch™ Control Screen, which provides access to job set-up and storage, job recall, and on-board system diagnostics.

A new, large detection eye system automatically counts product as it is loaded, while the accumulating Smart Funnel enables continuous loading during the bag sealing process. An automatic Bag Shaker activates at a pre-set count and helps pack the maximum number of towels per bag. A bag-out sensor puts the machine on hold while bags are re-loaded for fast, seamless changeovers.

The new CTS4000 is designed to integrate with most existing production lines. An optional infeed hopper with a motorized conveyor ties the CTS4000 to sling-fed systems and the large supply table is configured for both sling-fed and lift-table operations.

This Clean Towel System uses genuine Autobag brand bags-in-a-box up to 15 inches wide and 34 inches long. All genuine Autobag materials are system-matched and guaranteed to run with genuine Autobag packaging equipment.
