Burst Seal Pouches

Divider Clip Pouches

Dual Cartridge Systems

Semikit Package

A-PAK® Burst Seal Pouches

The A-PAK® burst seal pouch is a versatile package designed to hold pre-measured amounts of unmixed resin and catalyst in quantities ranging from 1 gram to 500 grams in any ratio you specify. We have many options for labeling. High volume applications allow us to custom print your product information or your company's name and logo on the package.

A-PAK® Divider Clip Pouches

The A-PAK® divider clip pouch is a versatile package designed to hold pre-measured amounts of unmixed resin and catalyst in quantities ranging from 1 gram to 250 grams in any ratio you specify. The plastic divider clip also serves as a convenient applicator. A-PAK® is a registered trademark of Adhesive Packaging Specialties, Inc.

Dual Cartridge Systems

APS offers a complete selection of dual cartridge on-demand mixing and dispensing systems for two-component reactive adhesives, sealants and resins. The dual cartridges isolate the two resin components until needed. Mixing occurs as the materials are dispensed through the motionless mixing nozzle (static mixer). General comments about dual component systems are given below. You can find details about specific systems offered by clicking the product line links above.

Dual Cartridge: Materials are kept in two cylindrical plastic containers, each of which stores one of the reactive components. The compartments are isolated so there is no cross-contamination of materials. Cartridges are made from a variety of plastics.

Dispensing gun: The gun applies pressure via a plunger to the contents of the dual cartridges, forcing them to combine upon entering the mixer. Dispensing guns are available in either manual or pneumatic styles.

Static Mixer: The static mixer, also referred to as a motionless mixer, is a narrow cylindrical tube which contains mixing elements. The elements are stationary parts that are positioned to force the materials to combine as they travel through the length of the mixer. After traveling the length of the mixer, the mixed material is forced through the tip of the mixer to the point of application. These mixers are low-cost and disposable after use.

Semkit® Packages

Semkit® packages are two-component plastic cartridge assemblies which store, mix and apply multi-component adhesives, sealants and other materials. The material can be mixed manually, semi-automatically or automatically. When ready to use, the material is mixed within the cartridge and applied directly from the package. Application can be facilitated by fitting with a specialty nozzle and then placed into a Semco® manual or pneumatic dispensing gun.

APS Pre-Mixed and Frozen Syringes or Cartridges eliminate the need for you to accurately weigh and mix reactive resin materials. Material stored in your freezer is simply thawed before use and then applied.

Pre-mixed and Frozen Packages

APS Process: The pre-mixed and frozen packaging process includes: thoroughly blending two-component materials, degassing them to remove entrapped air and then freezing the resin system in a disposable syringe or cartridge. These containers are then packed in dry ice and shipped directly to the customer's facility where they can be stored safely and conveniently in a freezer at -40°C.
