Wilsonart® Contract and Cambria, recognized leaders in interior surfacing materials, have formed a strategic alliance to bring Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces to the commercial design arena. Beginning January 2008, Wilsonart Specifications Sales organization representatives who Call on interior designers, architects and other interior surfacing specifiers will have the opportunity to educate their customers about the benefits of using Cambria in commercial settings.
There is a great, natural synergy between Wilsonart and Cambria surfacing products, says Bill DiGaetano, president of Wilsonart International, Inc.
Our specifications field force is always looking for new opportunities to meet the needs of the commercial specifier. It is a great benefit to both our companies to be able to tell the Cambria story to our customers.
Cambria Natural Quartz Surfaces are well known in the residential marketplace, says Martin Davis, President and CEO of Cambria. Quartz surfacing is a natural fit in commercial applications as well. We are very impressed with the quality people who make up the company, Wilsonart. We are pleased to have Wilsonart Contract represent us in the commercial market.
Cambria is a stain-resistant, non-porous natural quartz surface that is harder, stronger and easier to care for than other stone surfaces, including granite and marble, because it does not require sealing with harsh chemicals. Cambria has received both GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality and GREENGUARD for Children & Schools(SM) certifications, ensuring users that surfaces do not off-gas or emit harmful chemicals into the air. In addition, NSF International has certified Cambria as a safe surface for food preparation in commercial and residential kitchens. Cambria is the exclusive producer of natural quartz surfaces in the United States, with 38 colors currently available in the product line.
Wilsonart Contract was introduced in mid-2007 to bring commercial specifiers a widening array of surfacing solutions. Beginning with Wilsonart Laminate, the collection also includes Performance and specialty laminates, decorative metals, custom printed laminates, and thermofused melamine. The Wilsonart specifications sales team includes 26 company representatives in the United States and Canada who focus exclusively on educating interior designers, architects, facilities managers, and other specifiers about surfacing choices. |
