Nordson (NASDAQ: NDSN) Power of Choice(SM) programs let packagers reduce packaging costs and total cost of ownership by minimizing maintenance and downtime and optimizing adhesive use.
Power of Choice programs provide packagers with a wide variety of options for acquiring new and like-new adhesive dispensing equipment without an upfront capital expenditure. In many cases, packagers can acquire new equipment for less than the cost of downtime, parts and maintenance associated with older equipment. In addition, packagers get efficient, easy-to-operate systems with robust pumps, precise temperature control and the flexibility to process a wide range of standard and low temperature adhesives.
Equipment acquisition options include:
- The Partnership+Plus(SM) program. Packagers receive Nordson's latest technology, parts and service for a simple monthly fee. The program includes a ProBlue(R) melter, Blue Series(TM) guns and Advanced Technology hoses. Nordson provides parts, standard maintenance, a 23-point annual service check and a 36-month comprehensive warranty. No upfront capital is required.
- Trade-in programs. Packagers can exchange competitive or old Nordson melters for new Nordson systems and receive substantial discounts.
- Capital-friendly equipment finance programs. Customers can choose from a variety of acquisition and payment options through certified Nordson financial partners.
- Reconditioned Nordson equipment. Users can obtain like-new melters through the Nordson Equipment Services Program (ESP(TM)) for significantly less than the cost of new equipment. Rebuilt melters come with a 1-year standard warranty and a 2-year/4000 hour warranty on SP pumps and controls.
- The Nordson Protection Package(TM). Nordson delivers scheduled maintenance at specified intervals to increase equipment life and minimize unwanted downtime. PMMI certified, factory-trained technicians perform and document all service and assist with spare parts inventories.
Eric Luftig, senior marketing manager for Nordson Corporation explains, "Power of Choice programs exemplify Nordson Innovation, Service and Choice. Packagers get innovative options for replacing old systems, worldwide local service and more equipment and financing choices. Getting a new system becomes less expensive than operating an old melter because maintenance and total cost of ownership are reduced and more predictable."
