GKACS (Short Closed Guillotine Knife Assembly)
GKACS (Short Closed Guillotine Knife Assembly) is a very cost effective way to convert your flexible materials into manageable lengths. Now with the new short length body, the GKACS can squeeze into those tight places where a small footprint is essential. These guillotine knives can be used for a wide variety of materials including: paper, plastic films, foils, labels, thin gauge metals, foams, etc. They are available in sizes from 240 mm to 960 mm (Bottom Blade Length) and can have blades made from D2 Tool Steel, Stainless Steel, or several other materials upon request. Standard features include: 4 case hardened guide shafts, pneumatically actuated cylinders, spring loaded blades for precision shear cuts, and high strength frame construction.
(Note: All knife assemblies require at least 30 PSI clean shop air to operate)

GKATF Traction Feeder Cutting Assembly
The GKATF Traction Feeder Cutting Assembly is a highly effective way to feed and cut your material. It can be used to feed and cut material which can otherwise slip between conventional rollers. It can be used in various applications and can also be designed to work in a wash down environment.
The material is fed with the aid of a motor, and specially designed dual traction pulleys and belts that are pneumatically operated. This system ensures that the material is fed without slippage and cut to lengths. The cutting is handled by our state of the art guillotine knife assembly with four (4) guide shafts for superior strength and durability. Special coating can be offered on the blade set for longer life.
Some of the common industries this equipment is used in are
- Scrap chopper at the end of a food packaging line
