Mushkin, a popular RAM maker, launched a new packaging design called Safe and Protect Packaging (SPP) for its memory modules.
Unlike conventional blister packs currently in use, the new case is reinforced with a thick cardboard to protect and hold the RAM firmly in place.
The plastic case, which is made with antistatic material, is able to hold up to six pieces of RAM and comes with a CD/DVD holder.
Mushkin has already started to ship its memory modules with the new packaging and it will come at no extra cost for customers.
