

In recognition of India being one of the emerging leaders in the flexible packaging industry, The 2009 Flexible Packaging Symposium will be held in India for the first time. 10-11 November: Mumbai, INDIA 13-14 November: New Delhi, INDIA
The symposium will be designed for professionals from all areas of the flexible packaging and converting industries. Abstracts on the following topics will be accepted:
- New Trends in Flexible Packaging and Market Applications - Retort and Aseptic Systems and Material Applications - Environmental Issues and Recycling Technologies - New Materials and Equipment Development
Authors interested in presenting at the symposium are invited to submit abstracts or technical papers to IndiaPLACE@TAPPI.org by 30 June 2009. Paper, Film & Foil Converters’ Association is an all India body representing various sectors manufacturing packaging material both in flexible and folded carton sectors and manufacturers of basic inputs to the packaging industry. Established in 1965, as All India Paper and Allied Products Manufacturers’ Association, the same was renamed in 1995 as Paper, Film & Foil Converters’ Association (PFFCA).
The South Indian Education Society (SIES) is one of the oldest educational societies in Mumbai and was pioneered in 1932. SIES-SOP (School of Packaging) endeavors to groom professionals dedicated to the cause of developing packaging that is functionally efficient with quality parameters conforming to the international standards, while being cost effective and environment friendly. |
