Effective May 1, 2008, Enrico Pes (40) and Georg Schmitt (37) have been appointed Managing Directors of Langhammer Maschinenbau GmbH.
At the beginning of the year, Heinrich Langhammer sold his company to Winkler+Dünnebier AG, a company of the Körber PaperLink Group. He also wished to resign from the Management Board as soon as possible. With Enrico Pes and Georg Schmitt the company has appointed two successors who have been working at Langhammer Maschinenbau GmbH for many years.
Enrico Pes worked as Technician Science and Development at HITEC Materials in Karlsruhe, Germany. In 1991 he joined Langhammer Maschinenbau GmbH where his last position was Manager Sales at the Eisenberg (Palatinate) and Freiberg (Saxony) sites.
Georg Schmitt finished his studies in Engineering Informatics and Mechanical Engineering at Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in 1997. He then joined Langhammer Maschinenbau GmbH where he first worked as a construction engineer, then as Manager Constructions.
