- Compact, high-speed solution with a maximum output of 1,000 stick packs and 100 cartons per minute
- Offers a range of applications in the pharmaceutical and food industry

Sigpack Systems, a Bosch Packaging Technology Company, has developed an efficient and cost-effective system solution for the rapidly growing market of stick pack applications. In addition to the tried and tested vertical flat pack packaging systems, stick packs expand the range of packaging for pharmaceutical powder, granulates or smalls, such as mini tablets or hard candy. Thanks to its modular setup, the system satisfies customers` high standards for impermeability, accurate weight measuring, output, and efficiency.

Consisting of a stick pack machine with ten tracks and an integrated, intermittent cartoner, the PLC-controlled system offers high reliability on a small surface. With up to 100 cycles per track and minute, this system produces up to 1,000 stick packs, whether the auger or tipping filler dosing unit is used. At the corresponding carton rate, the integrated cartoner further packages the stick packs.

The stick packs can be produced in all current heat-sealable materials with fin seal as well as with overlapping seam. The servo technology ensures accurate movements and leak-proof seal seams. The cartoning can be carried out sorted in one or two layers or unsorted. This allows for an extremely compact, attractive, and cost-efficient package presentation.

Constantly visible product flow, ergonomic design, as well as a 12`` color touch screen all makes the system extremely easy to use. Production statistics and parameters are available at any time and can be displayed and analyzed individually.

The system, developed according to GMP standards, is easy to clean, maintain and validate. Its sturdy design ensures efficient and reliable multi-shift operation. A wide range of options leaves room for various options: multitrack coding, integration of weight control systems, the insertion of leaflets, compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 or location-specific management information systems are examples of its flexibility and high production reliability.

Beside the system solution Sigpack Systems offers also a one to four lane platform with an output of 100 to 400 packages per minute; this flexible solution, which is based on the same control and design philosophy, fits very well to the needs of co-packers and can also be used in pilot plant stations or for product launches.
