Rockwell Automation introduces a line of Residual Current Devices for earth leakage detection to the standards of IEC. The Allen-Bradley 1492-RCD is a line of devices to be used in association with miniature circuit breakers (1492-SP). These devices are designed according to IEC/EN 61008 and approved by VDE.
Industrial applications often require earth leakage detection in addition to overload and short circuit protection. The Bulletin 1492-RCD Residual Current Devices can detect earth leakage current and open the connected circuit to protect people and equipment. |
