PFM produces 4 high-speed portioning, automatic loading and Flow-Pack wrapping systems for hard sweets, chewing gum, bubble gum and toffees. New electronic and mechanical technology, new materials and new operating concepts have been adopted to produce solutions designed to surpass current limits in terms of wrapping speeds as well as increasing the operating efficiency of the lines.
Flow-Wrap for sweets of various shapes and sizes for a maximum speed of 2000 packs a minute. The product is loaded into the flow-pack machine by means of a disc with slots that id electronically by means of brushless motors. The size change operations require only a few minutes. The special cantilevered construction of the machine ensures that cleaning operations can be carried out quickly, even in the most hidden parts.
Flow-Wrap for chewing gum (Cut & Flow Pack Systems) of various shapes and sizes with automatic loading for up to 1500 packs a minute. The product is loaded by means of an electronic cutter positioned at 90º to the flow-pack machine for pre-cutting the chewing gum into strips and then loading the portions at 90º.
Flow-Wrap for bubble gum (Cut & Flow Pack System) for various sizes with in-line loading system for up to 1700 packs a minute. The extruded bubble gum is portioned in-line with the flow-pack machine by means of a single blade cutter. The cutter performs the cutting movement with two symmetrical blades (one from the top and one from the bottom) that follow the product at the same speed at which it advances (PFM patent) . This system ensures that cutting is perfectly right-angled to the product and that the weight of the product portions is extremely accurate.
Flow-Wrap for Toffees (Cut & Flow Pack System) various sizes and shapes with in-line feeding system. The cutting system, which is similar to that used for portioning bubble gum, can reach 1700 mechanical cycles a minute and offers exceptional cutting flexibility.

Blizzard Bubble Gum - Flow-Wrap Packaging Machine

BLIZZARD is a new high-speed Flow-Wrap packaging machine, which produces packs sealed on three sides from a roll of heat-sealable or cold-sealable film.

Designed for high-speed packaging bubble gum, chewing gum toffee. The machine operates with direct axis brushless motors. PLC and colour touch-screen controlled, it offers the possibility of connecting directly to on-line help.

The mechanical and electronic units are housed at the back of the machine, while only the product handling and sealing units are located at the front. Thus, all cleaning, hygiene and maintenance operations are made quick and easy. Automatic high-speed film mark reel changing system (PFM patent) for up to 110 meters of film sealed per minute, with no reduction of machine speed, and just one product skipped.
- Possibility of using in-line HS loaders or cut & flow pack type systems, in line or at 90º.
Automatic In-Line Cutter PFM patent: The lower and upper knives make an elliptical movement and meet in the centre. The product is cut clean without remnants and imperfections. Perfect precision of product unit weight.
Automatic Double Labelling Machine: A sticker can be introduced in the pack at the speed of 1500 ppm. Adhesive stickers for collection.
Blizzard Hard Candy - Horizontal Flow Pack Wrapping Machine
The Blizzard Hard Candy is a horizontal flow pack wrapping machine to produce 3-seal packs starting from a reel of heat or cold-seal film.
The machine has been designed for high speed wrapping and for working schedules up to 24 hours a day.

Automatic heated disk feeder with reverse-turning plate. The control depends on independent motors. There is the possibility to change the timing/synchronisation with the wrapping machine according to the product dimensions, the wrapping speed and the ramp of acceleration or deceleration. Cantilevered construction: it makes the cleaning operations easy. In front there are only the sealing assemblies while the mechanical and electrical components are at the back of the machine in separate and guarded environments. Therefore, all impediments for a perfect cleaning have been removed

Candy – Medium Range Packager for Candies of Various Dimensions
The Candy electronic is a medium range packager for candies of various dimensions, and can package up to 1000 sweets per minute with the automatic loading system.
It is a horizontal flow wrap packaging machine to make packs with three seals starting from a flat reel of hot or cold seal wrapping material.
