De Eendracht now enters a new phase of market development in line with its product evolution strategy.

The first paperboard grade to be launched since the inception of this development plan is
Gruno plus®. This new generation product provides clients with a number of key benefits
utilising the latest technologies of PM 11.

Gruno plus® carries on the theme of De Eendracht’s already well known product range Grunoplex® and Novoplex® by continuing to combine the benefits of both mechanical and recycled fibres.

The composition of Gruno plus® permits up to a 10% yield advantage compared to standard GD products, providing a cost effective area price solution. Gruno plus® also adds a new dimension to lightweight paperboard options for a variety of applications. The impressive optical appearance of Gruno plus® is the result of bill blade and double
blade coating. The high base gloss level and smooth print surface provide an ideal platform for printers to work from, transforming the printed image essential for shelf appeal.

Gruno plus® is now available in the range 225 to 325 gsm, finally the range will include 350gsm.
