CFS solution for pasteurisation in the pack

Producers are looking for longer shelf life of their meat products. With CFS C-base, a rigid Polypropylene based packaging film with EVOH barrier and PE or PP sealing, it is possible to pasteurize a multitude of sausages, as fried sausages, “Berner” sausages and grilled sausages in the pack under various conditions. Thus, it meets retailers’ demands regarding superior durability. Thanks to the high quality of the CFS packaging films, the packs stay in perfect shape, even after the pasteurization and sterilisation process. One of the most important properties of the material is the good deepdrawability on existing thermoforming machines. One step from film to shrink pack – CFS ShrinkPak System

For producers who want to present their product in a perfect shape, the CFS ShrinkPak System is interesting. It combines the benefits of a thermoformer like automation, easy handling, continous packaging process with the advantages of CFS shrinkfilm material like high shrinkage up to 40%, perfect product presentation and excellent barrier properties. This leads to cost savings up to 30% compared to traditional Shrink Bag handling. The CFS ShrinkPak System gives a perfect product presentation, no matter if the product is round rectangular of square.
