Soon we will see alcoholic drinks packaging carrying warnings about the number of units of alcohol within, as well as tips on safe drinking limits, as part of the Department of Health’s social awareness initiative launched in UK.

Last week’s legislative onslaught on waste in Britain saw companies that use excessive packaging coming under the microscope. The Environment minister, Ben Bradshaw, conceded that existing regulations were too weak and came up with ways to reduce the five million tonnes of packaging dumped annually.
