Globalization has enhanced mergers and acquisitions, furthermore giving room for companies to expand their markets and distribution channels.
A joint venture partnership to operate Sabra, the top-selling and fastest-growing maker of hummus, has been drawn between PepsiCo and Strauss Group.
The Sabra joint venture will produce and sell fresh dips and spreads in the U.S. and Canada. They will draw on both Strauss Group and Frito-Lay North America's (FLNA) marketplace expertise to continue building this growing business.
On the technological front, Assa Abloy Identification Technologies (ITG) has partnered with Soliton Systems K.K. in Japan, an IT security solutions provider.
This merge will bring about a combined technology solution that includes products such as the Omnikey 5321 contactless smart card reader and SmartOn for enterprise IT Security management.
